Here are a number of educational reading/writing games for kids to play and learn. I have divided them into three categories: Word, Sentence, and Literacy. They are fun, interactive, and accessible from any Internet-ready computer. Expect pauses while the games are loading.
A few games require Flash, Shockwave, Java, and/or JavaScript plugins to play them. You can download them here if your browser doesn't already have them or needs a newer version. If the Java games still don't load, go to the Preferences or Options menu of your browser and enable/turn on Java and JavaScript.
